Emotional bullying

Emotional bullying is any form of bullying that causes damage to a victim’s psyche and/or emotional well-being. Examples include:

1. spreading malicious rumors about an individual (or individuals)
2. keeping a certain individual (or individuals) out of a group
3. expelling an individual from a group
4. getting people to ‘gang up’ on a particular  individual
5. ignoring someone on purpose—the silent treatment or ‘stonewalling’
6. harassment
7. provocation
